Period of Absence

I haven't blogged in a little while. Over two years, actually. Other things got in the way and, to be quite frank, I'm pretty sure no-one is interested in what I have to say. But my friend told me (in his pretentious 'I'm so creative and living my life to the full' way) that I need to be more of a 'do-er' and 'no-one accomplishes anything being realistic'. Which I think was stolen from Will Smith.

Anyway, I'm going to make a conscious effort to read more and write more. And if you read my blog and would like to comment I am very open to ideas about how I can make it better or more engaging. Or if you think I'm perfect already then I'd also like to hear that (who wouldn't?). 

I'm sticking to my theme of book reviews for now. But I do reserve the right to change that in time. Just a heads up.
